Honored in Tokyo

Three of our extra virgin olive oils have been recognised at the 2026 Olive Japan International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. Oleve Luma, Oleve Early Harvest and Oleve Special Selection have each been awarded a Silver medal at one of the most respected olive oil events in the world.
This year marks Olive Japan’s 15th edition, and the honour is all the more meaningful given the scale of the competition: more than 800 entries from 29 countries took part. To be counted among the medal-winners in such a large and discerning field is a privilege we don’t take for granted.
About Olive Japan
Held each year in Tokyo and organised by the Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan, Olive Japan is one of the most esteemed international competitions for extra virgin olive oil. A panel of expert judges assesses every oil against strict sensory criteria — aroma, flavour and overall harmony — so that only the finest earn a place among the medals.
Meet the Award-Winning Oils

Oleve Luma — Silver Award: a distinctive oil crafted from the Kalamon variety, fruity, with a gentle and pleasant bitterness.
Oleve Early Harvest — Silver Award: a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil that captures the fresh, green character of fruit picked early in the season.
Oleve Special Selection — Silver Award: a balanced blend of Koroneiki and Kolovi olives, with herbaceous notes and a bright, green-tomato character.
From Sigri to Tokyo
Every one of these oils begins on the western edge of Lesvos, near Sigri, where land that was once largely barren has become a living grove of 50,000 trees across 12 varieties. Through organic practices, respect for nature and the circular reuse of what the land gives us, we work to craft oils with a true sense of place — and it is humbling to see them appreciated by one of the world’s most demanding tasting cultures.
