Ranked Top 10 in the World: Oleve’s Landmark Year at the 2026 Global Olive Oil Awards

It has been a landmark year for Oleve. In the 2026 international results, we ranked No. 7 in the world on the Global EVOO Rankings — the definitive benchmark for extra virgin olive oil excellence. Out of thousands of oils from more than 45 countries, a place in the global top ten puts Oleve among the very best producers on the planet.

Ranked Among the World’s Best
That No. 7 global ranking is the headline of our year — and it is no accident. The Global EVOO Rankings aggregate competition results from around the world, so a top-ten finish reflects sustained, measurable quality rather than a single standout harvest. Reinforcing that consistency, Oleve was also certified as one of the Most Awarded Producers for the 2020–2025 period — five years of international recognition, distilled into one remarkable result.

Three Golds in Berlin
Driving that world ranking was a clean sweep at the 2026 Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards (GOOA), where all three of our Oleve extra virgin olive oils took Gold in the Sensory Quality Organic category, each judged by an expert sensory panel:

  • Oleve Early Harvest — A bold, polyphenol-rich limited edition with pronounced bitterness and a lively, spicy finish that captures the freshness of just-picked olives. Expect notes of arugula, cut grass, green tomato and black pepper, from a blend of Arbequina, Koroneiki and Leccino.
  • Oleve Luma — An intense, vibrant early-harvest oil with pronounced fruitiness, balanced bitterness and a spicy kick, layered with fig leaf, flowers and artichoke. Pure and distinctive, it is presented in a minimalist white bottle as clean and artful as the oil inside.
  • Oleve Special Edition — Smooth, elegant and beautifully balanced, with golden-yellow hues, low acidity and delicate fruity aromas. A refined blend of Kolovi and Koroneiki for those who appreciate subtlety.

Rooted in Lesvos
Behind every bottle is Faros Estate, our 200-hectare private seafront estate on the island of Lesvos, in the landmark area of Sigri. With 50,000 olive trees and a state-of-the-art mill and bottling facility on site, we control quality at every step — from grove to bottle. The estate is also a model of sustainability and biodiversity, where the steady return of birds and wildlife is living proof of a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
A Celebration of Quality
No. 7 in the world, three golds in Berlin, and five years among the most awarded producers anywhere — the 2026 results celebrate everything Oleve stands for: quality, care, and respect for nature. To our team and everyone who helped make it happen: congratulations, and thank you.
