Squalene (>5000 mg/kg). Squalene is naturally produced by our own skin and makes up about 12% of human sebum. It’s what keeps skin supple, soft and protected. Extra virgin olive oil contains one of the highest natural concentrations of squalene found in any plant source. When applied topically, it replenishes what time takes away: deep moisture, elasticity, and a natural barrier against oxidative damage.
Hydroxytyrosol (20 mg/20 g). Considered the most powerful natural antioxidant ever measured. It fights free radicals caused by pollution, UV exposure and stress, the primary drivers of premature ageing, dark spots and loss of firmness.
Vitamin E (20 mg/100 g). A proven skin protector that supports cell regeneration, reduces inflammation, and helps heal scars and blemishes. It works synergistically with polyphenols: together they’re far more effective than either alone.
Oleic acid. This monounsaturated fatty acid is the reason extra virgin olive oil absorbs so well. It penetrates the skin’s lipid barrier efficiently, carrying all those active compounds deep into the layers where they’re needed, without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores.
