Spirulina is a single-celled, blue-green algae. It contains a wide range of nutrients and has been described as Nature’s multivitamin. Piura Organic Spirulina is sourced from an island in the South China Sea, in an environmentally pristine area far away from any industrial activity. Spirulina powder receives minimal processing – the algae grow in pools of pure water before they are harvested and then dried.
INGREDIENTS: Organic spirulina powder. Spirulina may contain sulphites due to natural occurrence in the production process.
SUGGESTED USE: Take 3-6g (1-2 teaspoon) per day, mixed with water, juice or a smoothie. Alternatively sprinkle on or add to food.
