Baobab is a tree that thrives in hot, dry savannah. Our key supplier is a Baobab researcher with a vision of promoting Baobab conservation and improving lives in rural communities. She supports up to 1500 rural women in Southern Africa who harvest baobab fruit. Baobab is produced with minimal processing. The dry fruit is harvested, and fruit pulp is separated from the skin and seed. This is then milled into powder and sieved.
